About me

I am a physicist, currently working on my PhD thesis in biophysics at the research group: translational pain.

My research interests in general are the application of mathematics to natural phenomena, i.e. mathematical / theoretical physics and computer science. Recently the applications of probability theory and statistical physics in biology have caught my interest. The aim of my PhD thesis is to apply these methods to increase the information gained from antibody based microscopy / imaging.

Since the start of my bachelor's degree, I have greatly benefited form the various open source projects. I do think that knowledge should be a common good. As such, this website also serves the purpose of distributing some of my projects back into the general public.
